| 80% Prime Alpaca, 10% Bamboo, and 10% Camel 2oz - $10.00 Color: 2011 AOLLC's Spring Garden
Alpacas: This is a blend of Panta Rhei and Jasper
Oh
my what can I say about this roving. It is luscious, dreamy, soft, and
just spins like a dream. I spun up the sample with a drop spindle in no
time at all. It is so much fun to come up with new and different color
schemes and this one more so than many. I was really pleased after
seeing the final pin drafted roving. It truly reminds me of a beautiful
garden. The colors are various shades of pinky/purple, yellow gold,
various greens and some natural white. Photos just did not do it
justice. Hopefully the spun up sample shows how pretty this will be. | As of 11/26/2011, this color is listed on Etsy only. We have 4 2 oz left.

This combo feels incredibly soft with the merino Yak and the silk. I really wish the computer could show this better. Really pretty gold and pink combo. Spins up nice.

| 70% Prime Alpaca, 10% Sparkle and 20% Camel - oh la la 2oz - $10.00 Color: 2011 Maple Leaf
Alpaca: Prime Alpaca Fiber is from Jewel. Jewel is a medium fawn and I absolutely love to over dye her fiber.
This
has become one of my favorite color schemes and it came about from
walking in the field last year when the leaves were so beautiful in rich
reds, burgundy, and a hint of orange. It is luscious, dreamy, soft, and
just spins like a dream. I spun up the sample with a drop spindle in no
time at all. I think this would make an absolutely gorgeous scarf. Rich
in color and the sparkle just adds a bit of class. | |
